Lyme?

Mono? Lyme? Maybe a sinus infection or pneumonia? I would go to the doctor to get a number of tests done and a lung x-ray.

Are you generally in good health with acceptable BMI, nutrition and exercise? Any of those being off can affect your immune system and ability to fight off infections.

Agree to schedule appointment with PCP.

Maybe your husband is poisoning you. I'm not kidding.

Wow, of all the possible solutions, you had to go there

You'll get answers from it's nothing to you're dying. If you're wondering enough to post on here, you should be seeing a doctor.

Exactly. Shortness of breath is not something to ignore.

Not totally relevant but check carbon monoxide monitors if you have a gas furnace or stove.

Update - went to Dr today - a bunch of tests were ordered.

Nothing in my lungs or any obvious cardiac issues.

I'm hoping it's just a weird thing that happened this winter. Fingers crossed.

A little out of left field, but migraines?

Mold? Have you replaced HVAC filters? Cleaned your water bottles (including straws)? Replaced your toothbrush? Sanitized your phone, doorknobs, keyboard?

OP with an update - blood tests indicated nothing wrong.

I posted on another thread that I am beginning to suspect it's this - human metapneumovirus - there are a few articles out there on it. Apparently it's surging this winter.

I felt that way when I got Lyme disease. Go see your doctor STAT. You’ll get blood work to make sure it’s nothing serious or treatable. I got antibiotics for the Lyme and felt fine after that.
