why May 1?

It’s the final day to withdraw without losing your full tuition for schools. At least our private.

Wondering about the waitlist at BVR for Kindergarten? Impossible to know, I know but wondering if we might have any luck! Any experiences?

Don't go to BVR and save your money.

Agree 100%. Beauvoir is the worst.

Jealous your kid didn’t get in….

No, actually we had two kids there. Speaking from experience, not jealousy.

What about the Maret waitlist? My neighbour is on the waitlist….

I hear waitlists aren’t real- it’s a soft rejection!

Waitlists have moved at GDS and Bullis this year for 9th grade.

Why? What is so good about Beauvoir? Only heard negative things.

No one is jealous of BVR and it isn’t difficult to get in

If Beauvoir weren’t the standard, it wouldn’t be the subject. The amount of discussion, especially the negative kind, says less about the school and more about the people talking. My kids don’t even go there, but the criticism feels a lot like thinly veiled envy.

From the comments on the regrets thread, parents are finding solace that they aren’t alone in feeling unimpressed and frustrated with outcomes. And those that rejected BVR are relieved.

So BVR being the subject is more exposure than envy. But run with whatever narrative soothes you

Maret generally does not go to waitlist and I know it didn't need to go this year.
