Would you date a smoker?

God no. He will stink and over time you will too, without noticing. Everyone will be disgusted by you, and

I’d sleep with one first date.

I married one.

Absolutely not. I dated a smoker in college and it was disgusting. The habit is vile and I could not be around someone who was stupid enough to smoke. Same goes for vaping, that’s almost dumber. I only have one friend who smokes and yes I think less of them for it.

This. You’ll smell and people won’t want you in their house. Maybe it depends on where you live but I grew up UMC and currently live like that and none of my friends’ parents smoked when I was a kid and I only know two moms who do now. And they do it “in secret” even though we all know they’re doing it and they smell. And I’m talking about cigarettes.

Ideally not an everyday smoker but lots of people I know sneak a few here and there. Not a big deal.

How do you deal with the smell? do you have an agreement about outdoors only and the shower?

Absolutely not. Hate the smell of cigarettes.

She says she's quit (I don't really believe she's totally quit but I don't press on it), but when she smoked for 15 years before quitting and our deal was outdoors only. I never really minded the smell on her breath either, although I've had friends who smoked brands I hated to smell.

God no. How is this a question?

Absolutely not. Never “date” a smoker. Gross. But a one-time thing if they were hot. Sure.

No, anyone who smokes these days is just bloody stupid. Besides the health risks and the stink, who willingly gives their money to those evil corporations?

And don’t give me lip about addiction. It’s been 28 years since the tobacco master settlement. I don’t want to hear it about how people can’t help it.

Daily smoker hard no.

Smoke once or twice a year during outings and weddings - sure.
