Need simple cotton crewneck sweaters

Check Nordstrom.com. You can filter for "100% Cotton" and go from there. Last year I had a gift card to use and got a nice heavy but not hot Nordstrom brand 100% cotton sweater that became one of my favorites.

Jenni Kayne makes some lovely ones. I have a few.

a bunch? Is everyone on DCUM just ridiculously rich. I could never pay this much for a sweater and our HHI is 500k.

Me too. I wish I could buy a bunch too. Our HHI income is like 900K

I was at Brandy Melville in with my daughters over the holidays and got a couple of nice cotton sweaters--the tag said made in Italy. They were navy and grey though, not bright.

I’ve found some random really nice stuff there too. I would have never expected it.

PSA: Unless you are very shapely with a washboard stomach you do NOT need a simple cotton crewneck sweater.

These are inexpensive and have a nice high neck, which I love. I have some that are 10-15 years old and still holding up!

My Factory cotton teddie sweaters from a few years ago are about 5x nicer than my ones from last year. The last year ones already look somewhere between pilled and brushed, and I don't think a brushed cotton sweater is a thing the way brushed cashmere is.
