| What does hooked / unhooked mean? |
On this forum, it means connected in some way. People have given different examples like political connections, donors, knowing the board at schools, exceptional talent in sports, legacy etc. Basically a kid who is hooked has a perceived edge due to these types of connections. |

Same with my DD, last year. She turned down both SR and Visi, and is very happy at SJC. Make sure she gives consideration to the Cadet Corps Leadership Program - it's an amazing program that will give her another notch up when it's time for college application. |
