I was called a piglet in target for looking at Easter candy. I was just looking mind you. We don’t even celebrate Easter. 3 days ago while shopping I picked up a small salad because I was still hungry and screamed at in the store because “you can still get that from lettuce if you eat enough”. He’s become annoying and has plans for plastic surgery. I told him to leave but he said he won’t.

We assume he’s doing this because the the $500/month injectibles? And has/had a BMI >30 and never learned to stop eating fast, or the right portion size, or to eat less? Plus rarely worked out or even took walks?

Yes those types become insufferable with the GLP injectibles. They think they’re invincible gods. No muscle tone still but he will likely rapidly go through the stages of an egotistical male mid life crises.

Protect the kids and yourself. He’s a goner.

He reason for being an a-hole, doesn't change the fact that he is an a-hole.

That’s nonsense. I am on a restrictive diet for health reasons. My spouse and kids are free to eat what they want.

If he’s trying to lose weight it would be nice to support him by not bringing junk food into the house. While some of you may have self restraint with junk food in the house many people find the willpower battle too difficult to overcome and succumb to eating the readily available food.

No it's not. He doesn't have to eat it. If he doesn't have the self control to not eat anything that is in the house, that's HIS problem, not OPs.

Oh look, another GLP-1 hater. So sorry you have more thin people around you to be jealous of.

If OP's husband was on a GLP-1 then he would have a reduced appetite and not care if she, for example, b brought pizza in to the house. So, oops, you're wrong, bless your teeny tiny rock hard heart.

Nope, nope, nope. Just because you have to starve yourself and keep away from foods you don't want to eat, doesn't mean that's the right way to do it. You CAN have pizza, you just don't have to eat the whole thing. When my family wants pizza, I make sure that we also order a couple salads. I eat the salad first, then a slice of pizza. Moderation is the key to maintaining weight loss, not starvation.

OP, are you unknowingly showing signs of resentment that he is losing weight? Are you overweight and upset that he is losing weight, which pressures you?

Either way, there is no justification for him being an a**, but I have to wonder if you are mentally, or just here to get people on your side, exaggerating what he is saying to you.

So supportive of you to dangle delicious junk food in front of his nose. You'd probably take perverse pleasure in him breaking down and stuffing his face.

Really it seems like you don't like him in general and your disdain prevents you from trying to be tolerant of your partners over-enthusiasm. I'm sure it's over the top now but as in all things it'd wane as it becomes habit.

Interesting such a wide variety of responses here.

Anyways, GLP user here and nope I don’t food police others.

Was there an alternative meal planned for him the night you served pizza?

How fat are you? Maybe you should support his effort to get healthier. You sound like someone who would continue to drink around a spouse determined to quit.

Did you blow smoke in his face when he quit cigs?

This is bananas. Get him on glp. Then he won’t be so grumpy about people eating in front of him

Yep glp user. Others food doesn’t bother me. I’m just not hungry. Or I’ll have a taste and it’s good but I don’t want more. I’m not grumpy at all.
