Wasnt the cartel leader formerly Mexican police?

What is the better approach to ending cartels like this? Is monitoring sufficient? Let them persist and grow? Are cartels no big deal?

Word is the US was actually involved in the strike. Still taking out the leader of a cartel has been done in the past. They have many mid level guys ready to fill the void and their finances networks have not been touched. Got to address the root cause- the US’s never ending demand of drugs.

Yes the Mexican cartel are Hezbollah and Hamas. They were planning an attack on Israel. They had to be stopped by Trump because Trump is America first(only in name).

Mexico’s Defense Secretary says 80% of the weapons seized from cartels are of U.S. origin (CIA obviously) and the remaining 20% are from Israel.
