Man shot dead in Potomac senior living

Anonymous
My mom lives at another Cogir facility and they have video cameras everywhere. I’m positive there are other images.

My guess is they hired someone to do the dirty work and shoot the poor guy and one of the step children was behind it. The guy was doling out donations and money left and right and with mental decline, they probably feared nothing would be left if he lived another 10 years.

It’s horrifying. I hope the killer does not profit.

The Guthrie crime is scary too.

WP story today. I hope the killers are identified and that they don’t profit financially. Horrible story.

His wife's obituary says they were married in 2001, and she had 4 children from her previous marriage. https://khrfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/moira-hastings-fuller
None of the articles mention whether he had any kids. If he got married for the first time in his 60s, that's pretty unusual.

It was one of the children.

The arrest is connected to a person who shot at a state trooper during a traffic stop in Baltimore on Tuesday, Montgomery County Police said, but they did not yet explain further.

"They will share more at a press conference at 3 p.m. Wednesday." They better provide details because I'm so sick of the news reporting half the news then you never find out what happened.

Yes. Someone is offing rich old moms and dads! The great boomer wealth transfer is happening through killings and scams...

I am not surprised with this either. My elderly mom lives with my sibling. She has money for 24 hr care, but she has only kept a lady attendant who comes from morning 9 am stays till 4 pm. My sibling has a whole barrage of part time employees - daily cook who comes for an hour, daily cleaner to clean the house and do dishes, someone to water the plants and take care of the lawn etc. We have CCTV all over the house and in all rooms.

We make sure that periodically we invited relatives for meals etc so that they can meet my mom and her brain remains active. The one thing we do fear is the greed of people working for us. So we live a simple and pared down life. There are no valuables at home that can be stolen.

Maybe the arrested person was caught stealing by the deceased. Very sad and scary.

Or killed in order to steal. Given the victim was a millionaire, he might have had Rolex or smth like that in his room.
