UGH.

What is everyone doing that they keep getting Covid? Are you immunocompromised? Worn down?

This isn't a weird flex, I just don't understand the extreme variability and incidence in severity among different people.

I haven't been able to get a Covid positive even when I desperately wanted the Golden Ticket to stay home from work

You're a moron.

If I can anticipate that I'm going to be in a crowded space, especially on a plane, I'm wearing a mask. Not having it wreak my vacation if it can be helped.

I made it through the rough years without getting it, despite people around me getting it. Then about 6 months ago I got it for the first time, while masked at an eye doctor appointment.

That's terrible! Was the doctor masked? Mine doesn't even though they're right up in my face. Its almost rude. At least where a mask when you're that close to patients!

This is OP. No, I'm not immunocompromised. I am a teacher, in my fifties, had a flu shot in November, and haven't had been sick all winter... until this. And this is not a "Golden Ticket." I've been miserable. Count your blessings.

I don't! I follow the science!

Somehow I've had Covid four time in the last 28 months. I always stay up to date on boosters and I mask in public transit. Who knows?

I had Covid over the holidays. Honestly, it wasn’t that bad except for the complete loss of smell. It certainly seemed better than the flu everyone else had. My kid brought it home from school. It’s still very contagious, and you can still catch it. It’s mild because I’ve had it before and my body recognizes it and because I’ve had shots and boosters. It was on par with a cold, and I didn’t even get a fever this time.

No. I got the vaccine. Just like a flu shot. Are you an anti-vaxxer?

I know a ton of people that have it or have had it this winter.

My best friend’s son got the flu and Covid at the same time.. thank you theater kids. He was out of school for two weeks.

Most of the people I know that have it were down bad for a whole week.

No, I'm not an anti vaxxer. Weird way to jump to conclusions. You sound like an empathic soul.

I will be getting my booster soon, around March.

I mask in high volume places as well. Usually the criteria for me is sitting or standing among a group , like a theater, church, long waiting line.

I have never tested positive or been sick either.

Me as well. I've had all the boosters and mask in high volume areas.
