PP who likes Ilia here. The cream rouge did seem to dry out quickly for me. |

I'm 43 with pretty good skin and no static lines. I have tried Laura Geller and I do like it. Very light coverage but evens everything out and gives a "filtered" look. It's probably not great for someone with lots of wrinkles though as I would imagine the powder would settle into fine lines.
The all time best higher coverage foundation is from Cle de Peau https://www.cledepeau-beaute.com/sg/A21302_sg.html?dwvar_A21302__sg_color=O20&cgid=products-makeup-face-foundations It's obscenely expensive but a little goes a very long way. It is truly undetectable and makes your skin look perfect. |
| For mature skin, go for a glowy look not matte. Best thing to use would be a tinted moisturizer or a bb cream, also Bobbi brown cream concealer is beyond awesome. |
The Ilia drops broke me out. I do like the foundation stick and the cream blush. |
| I like powder foundation since I’ve been older (now mid 40s). Makeup forever is good. I have some ilia stuff too but I can’t find a good match in their foundation or concealer. Love the balmy lip tint and multi stick. |
| My skin has gotten dry with age so I have to really make sure my base of good skin care/hydration is on point so makeup like foundation sits well. I have been liking the Trish McAvoy liquid foundation and powder. |
| Huda Beauty Easy Blur is really good. It is luminous but not overly glowy - some of the recommended “glowy” foundations end up being too slick and almost sweaty looking. Paired with a good concealer, it looks really nice. I have dry skin so am always happy when a foundation doesn’t flake and settle. |
Second Jones Road |
Try Jones Road. It's the company Bobbi Brown's company started after she left Bobbi Brown. It's clean make up as well. |
Jones Road is very very light coverage and IME does not last the whole day. It sounds like OP is looking for more or a foundation type product. |
+1. This is all I use for makeup. |
| Another Westman Atelier fan. |
| Has anyone tried Typology? |
I have some, too, and generally like them. Lip stuff is great. The tinted super serum feels a little heavy and drying to me, and I don't have dry skin, but I am far from a makeup expert. The skin rewind stick is great. I've been using the DRMTLGY tinted moisturizer and I feel a little shiny, but it isn't drying and doesn't settle into fine lines. I've determined that the goldilocks solution is for someone to airbrush my face in realtime. Totally do-able. |
