Who owns the device? One section should be you, the other your son?

Yes remove device, change password. Do you use 2 factor authentication? If not that is a must.

Oh also look who is in your icloud familt.

You should only see devices for family; a neighbor who shares location shouldnt have device location shared just the person section of find my for example

Could it be one of your son's old phones that was just found?

Then you gave away an old phone without resetting it? Did you have a phone break?

Remove. Reset password. 2FA authentication.

So they have access to your icloud photos, your location, they can reset your phone.
