true, but the damage done in the meantime for humanity will not be pleasant.

It’ll get stuck in litigation, and the next admin will just stop defending the case.

That is not how it works.

It is, actually.

It's not actually. Do you think big oil is just going to give up?

Not only that. By dismantling the justification for addressing greenhouse gas emissions, the repeal could prevent future presidents from reinstating any climate rules in the future.

Explain why this President has more power to dismantle than the next President has to remantle.

Trump is on his last lap and doesn’t care. Especially if he can collect a few more bribes in exchange for the revocation.

It’s not even as if the man is in his 30s and has decades left to live and benefit from all the bribery and grift. I can’t imagine he’s doing any of this to help his kids. What’s in it for him, really?

He doesn't see any downside - according to him the recent cold weather is evidence that global warming is a hoax.

One, he hates Obama. This was his baby.
Two, he hates wind and solar.
Three, he does actually think regulation is bad and climate change is a hoax.

He doesn't think it's a hoax, he just doesn't believe it affects him personally, and he's right about that.

He does think it's a hoax. He said so many times. But you're right that it doesn't affect him personally since he'll be dead before he finishes this term.

He has a hatred for windmills, for example, mainly because of their aesthetics. He also thinks that windmills are creating a fat fox problem. Words actually spoken by Trump in a meeting with oil executives.

It's amusing how this jacka$$ thinks windmills are ugly and "ruin" a landscape or view of the ocean, yet the scene of large ugly-as-fXX! refinery with flares that looks like something out of Mordor belongs on a postcard it's such as lovely view.

Now he is going on about START/STOP button and how it's so necessary that cars don't have those anymore. I guess he is too ignorant to understand you can just turn those off and don't have to burn the planet down to get rid of it. When will this evil, demented, insane moron die?????????????????

You should understand by now that what Trump says and what Trump believes are not related.

I don’t give a shit what he believes. What he puts in motion is what concerns me. But how anyone can say he doesn’t believe that climate change is a hoax, works tirelessly to get us out of the Paris accords and then does it, is beyond me. That’s a lot of action for someone who believes differently.

You can't... repeal... a scientific finding. At that point it's just called lying about it.

He says a lot of things he doesn't actually believe. He is a con man.

This. It doesn’t matter what he believes. He has no belief system. That is it. No mystery here. HE used to be able to read the room and give MAGA what MAGA cheered for (literally), but he can’t even do that anymore. SO we are left with images he has from when he was a kid that he sees a being good and that is what he wants now.

Don't the GOP breathe? Don't their children and grandchildren breathe?

Failing to "believe" in climate change doesn't change the facts.

The GOP will die of cancer too.

Right, this is what I don't get. I've been posting similar message to all the GOP congressmen who post pics of kids/grandkids on IG. LOL. Won't their kids benefit from cancer research?!?!?

They think they're more deserving than the rest of us. That's the problem.
