I keep my wallet inside of my purse & I keep my purse 👜 in my bedroom closet.
My keys, however are left on a key holder that sits on the wall right next to my front door. For convenience of course. |
| I put my keys on my nightstand. My phone has my cards etc in it and is also on my nightstand. Those are the things I need if I have to run out quickly/escape. |
| My wallet is in my purse (small cross shoulder). Where it is in the house is fairly random, but there are 4 or 5 likely places. |
| Drop it by the door. Put it away when guests are expected. |
| On top of the kitchen island or on one of the stools that go with the island. |
| Why don’t you tell people the security code for your alarm system while you’re at it. |
| We walk in through the garage and have a landing zone: keys, purse, etc. go on that small counter area in our kitchen. It used to have a phone (now cell phones only), and is in an out of the way place in our kitchen, not a work space |
| I lost my wallet in my house a few weeks ago. I need to find it, but I so rarely use it. I took it to cash a check that was too big for the app. Idk why you can’t tap an atm. |
Yeah this thread is a trick! |
| Car. In my garage. |

I only use a purse when I go into the office, because it has all my keys and whatnot. Otherwise I just do not use a purse and keep everything in my phone.
I keep my purse generally on the dining room table. I keep my phone (w/ ID, credit cards, some cash) with me most of the time in the house. But no set place. |
| This time of year wallet is usually in the pocket of whatever coat I wore last. If I'm in purse mode it goes on the stupid built in desk in the kitchen where everything gets tossed. |
| Work bag goes on one of the chairs at our kitchen island that no one uses (maybe because my bag is always there). |
What is anyone going to do with this information? If they could somehow figure out where I live based on my IP address, then they would have to break into my house WHILE I’M INSIDE (because otherwise my purse would be with me if I wasn’t home), figure out where my bedroom is, come into my bedroom WITH ME IN IT, and steal my purse which is right next to me by my bed. Oh, and I’m a light sleeper, so they would have to do this completely silently, as well as get out of the house without making a sound. I have teenagers who start up late, and I get up early, so there is also a few-hour window they would have to work with. |
| Inside my purse. Which is usually hanging from a chair or under my desk. I don’t really have a foyer, I have a small house. |
