Where do you keep your purse or wallet in your house?

Just curious. Do you keep your wallet, keys, purse by the door? In the kitchen? Bedroom?

I don’t like to keep in foyer, or really any public space. Not for appearance sake but need a place to keep it out of traffic area so chose my bedroom (main level)

I don’t have a designated area of my room for it though.

I keep my wallet in the car. Purse? Not since 2020

I keep my everyday bag in a lower cabinet in the kitchen. Easy access to garage and car.

Foyer on the entry table, but the front table has drawers for when I want to stash it away

My wallet goes from my backpack that I take to work once a week to my canvas tote bag that I take to do errands. Both are on my living room floor. I have a purse on the back of my bedroom door for when I'm just going to dinner and then the wallet goes in there.

Random places. I have a hook and desk that I should use but don’t.

Alas, I’m looking for stuff all the time. I still haven’t learned.

When I come home, I hang my purse on the kitchen chair while I prep dinner, etc. I take it to my bedroom when I go to bed — I do this in case of a fire, so I’ll have my keys, wallet and phone with me if I need to run out of the house quickly.

Desk in my home office which is connected to my bedroom upstairs. When I come home from work I immediately unpack/change, and on weekends when I get ready to go out all my stuff is up there.

If it’s a day I’m in and out then my purse is on the kitchen counter

I got rid of the purse and just put the wallet in my pants like a man. It then goes on the night stand at home.

In the basement vault, in a safe, can only be opened by retina scanner. OP, good enough answer for you…?
