How can you be socially competitive?

Those are irrelevant. You need to be cunning, cut throat, and narcissistic.

Being intelligent or beautiful works AGAINST you.

Being rich, well groomed(but average looking or ugly) and engaging helps.

I think I am uniquely perfect the way I am.i give more than I take always to those around me. Therefore, Don’t care if I am socially competitive or what. Anyone who overlook me , it’s their loss.

You audition in middle school, then you’re cast as socially competitive, aka mean girl, in high school. You continue to hone your craft through your college and professional years until you master the 3Cs of the industry: control, climb and compare. Then after many long hard years of triangulation and social engineering you get to retire comfortably in your 70s or 80s.

This. Would also recommend the ability to turn charm and likeability in and off like a switch, so you can use it to suck up to people with influence but then turn it off in order to abuse those you see below you. Don't want to waste and energy on your lessers, right? Plus what good is social status if you don't flex it to make other people want to kill themselves sometimes, am right?

[Should go without saying that this is sarcasm but just in case anyone is taking this literally, it's sarcasm]

Sounds just like my social climbing neighbor. Is a user and a truly awful person but she sure does know how to turn on the charm when she wants something. Also, a massive user.
