Terrible effects from any alcohol at all

Could it just be that we are out of practice?
I gave up drinking during the little kid years and now struggle to metabolize more than a glass. Meanwhile my elderly mom is not impacted by three or more glasses.

Me again: For context, I am 45 and while menopause can’t be far off I just had a baby 18 months ago. My mom is about to turn 80!
