When I retire, I want to hire a nanny for me

Anonymous
I'm hiring someone to have my house warm as I wake up, breakfast ready, do my laundry, cook, clean, and keep my garden in great shape.
I want my skis, bike, and horse ready whenever I feel like using them. I grew up riding horses. It's been decades now.
This won't be in US though. It's much cheaper back in the old country.
What I need or want and how often, will change over time. I'm already retired at 48, but can't move abroad until 55. I'm just dreaming right now.
I want to spend my time hanging out with friends, family, eating cinnamon buns, smoked fish, looking at the sunset/sunrise.
Extra food from my garden will be given away.
My former teacher walks past my mom's garden on her way home and asks mom has anything to give away. She always does. So cute.

I’m tired of doing all this for my 17 year old daughter.

What countries are less expensive? And what do you do for healthcare? Can anyone just move?

Some of you grew up without staff and it shows

Oh the HORROR. People who grew up without STAFF!

Grow up.

It changes all the time, but you can ask ChatGPT what countries you can move to as an American citizen and live there and get healthcare.

Obviously, you will be an immigrant obviously there are rules. Read them.

I’ve often thought that they should have an aupair program for older people.

Mexico 🇲🇽
Colombia 🇨🇴

I am considering it for my husband and i when we get older and to try to avoid going to a retirement home (we are childless)

Sounds like you should just spend the rest of your life on a cruise ship.

This could be very possible for you if you have the money.

You could pay someone to assist you in stuff like this as your companion.

They could even play cards 🃏 or board games w/you too!
