| I find this fascinating. I had sealants, but they do not appear to be present any longer (age 45) that I can tell. In my life I’ve had one cavity, but that was on an impacted tooth that had a soft spot once it finally erupted through the gum. Anyway, I’ve never heard a dentist mention them as being a potential problem. |
| Sealants weren't a thing when I was a kid. I went 30 years with no cavities and have the (new) dentist watching some now. I don't trust dentists. I'm hoping they aren't inventing stuff. |

I have sealants and had zero cavities for many years.
No dentist has mentioned my sealants being an issue. When I started Invisalign, I began brushing with an electric brush 2-3 times a day and flossed each day. I have not had any further cavities since starting this. |
