What a gift to high schoolers preparing for SAT/ACT

Schools administer an in-school SAT in the spring. Kids could start readying for that this week absolutely

Will the move the in school SAT date because of this week's closures? Tho students probably don't prep during school or have prep class during school hours so maybe the school SAT date will not change

I understand that class time is ideal for AP instruction. But, it is not the only way to study for AP exams. There are a ton of online resources, including your student's AP Classroom on the College Board website. If AP classes are intended to be college equivalent classes, students need to understand that not every single piece of information will be taught to them. They must also study independently.

I would much rather my kid get 5 days of instruction for AP Physics and AP calculus. My kid is not self-teaching those subjects.

My kid studied for the SAT over the summer so they wouldn’t have to scramble during the school year.

Okay, have them study previous material. Review what they have already covered. It is possible to study what has been taught already.

And how will they finish the required curriculum having missed so many days?

I did a chapter of AP science as a winter break take home packet.
