| Why are Arlington and Fairfax counties not having the same water main break problems as WSSC? Are their pipes newer and not breaking as much? |
August |
Why don't government use the weather controlling machines to help us? |
Yeah, back before the capitalists poisoned the rivers and made electricity unaffordable. |
We need a sharpie to draw water drips in the map |
Many live in homes that are slightly newer than 1800s |
| Exactly what non-essential purposes would people be using water for in January? |
For example, if you can wait to do your laundry. Cleaning cars tho who is doing this in freezing temps?? You get the point, we hope. |
Most people don't have enough clothes for that, given that the very cold temperatures that are causing the water main breaks will last into next week. We use water frugally and are functioning as usual in winter, which means we continue to do laundry, use the dishwasher, and take showers. |
Yes. Moco and PG have much older development, much of it from the boom in the 50s-70s. Just wait 10-20 years. |
I don't live in excess I have 6 pair of socks and 6 pair or underwear. So after 5 days I'm doing laundry. Same with dishes 4 dishes so every other day the dishwasher will run. |
| People follow it. It's hopefully only temporary |
| What does WSSC expect we cut in winter??? We need clean clothes and showers. I’m not skimping on my daily shower. |
Since it's clear you don't really read the OP, here it is again for you: Use water only as necessary, such as taking shorter showers and quickly turning off faucets from running at full force. Limit flushing toilets (do not flush after every use). Limit using washing machines and dishwashers. Please respond that you read and UNDERSTOOD what you read. |
