So sad. I remember watching her win the national championship game in 2019 and win the MVP award.

That would be assault.

Seriously, you are a HUGE part of the problem in this country today.

Yes her friend was assaulted by the boy.

Alleged, right? But confirmed she threw coffee on the boy, right?

You are defending a sexual assault?

Dp, it can be true that the boy should have been punished through the proper channels if he committed an assault or other sex crime, and that she should be disciplined for assaulting him. I don’t get the argument that she should be allowed to do whatever she wanted regardless of rules.

Really?? He was accused and being investigated when she assaulted him (the story posted did not include the results of his investigation). Then she was being investigated for assault. Am I missing some facts?

Nobody said that she should be allowed to do whatever she wants. Nobody said she shouldn’t be disciplined.

But to get a letter saying you’re gonna be disciplined, more harshly for throwing a drink on somebody than the person who SA’d your friend … that’s abuse by the administration

Yes, she received a letter saying that she was being kicked off the team for throwing a drink on somebody while somebody who sexually assaulted somebody was not kicked off his team.

Being against vigilante justice isnt the same thing as defending sexual assault.

Nothing happened to him. Since she died there was no case. He graduated and is just fine.

She didn’t fail, the school did. Maybe they can learn to not overreact or single out some for overly harsh discipline while ignoring others?

Part of the generation the keeps waiting for someone else to save them. Look around and tell me how your pacifist refusal to live your life with any agency is working out.

What’s the difference between justice and vigilante justice. Please cite examples from the current US justice system.

Idk, I’m alive and living my best life, and the entitled athlete committed suicide when she was wasn’t given special treatment for her bad behavior.

You don’t know how she was raised. To make it onto that D1 team she already had more grit than 99% of kids her age. You fail a lot at soccer as you work your way up.
