Do you ever just feel PROUD of yourself?

Thanks for the reminder OP. I’m proud of you too.

I have a hard time feeling proud of anything because I was told I was stupid and sucked by my father and then my ex husband. But the other day I looked around at my house (renting) and how it’s big, safe, covered in my children’s artwork, with a beautiful garden and yard, and full of love and happiness. And I realized that I don’t give myself enough credit, for creating that life out of trauma. My kids are happy and affectionate and doing well. I have a loving partner and I am healing everyday.

Congratulations OP on what you have accomplished in the last 18 months and most importantly to be feel fulfilled despite what you have gone through w the divorce. Keep it up! Being proud of oneself is the first step towards creating success.

To answer your question, yes I feel proud just about everyday. Sometime over major accomplishments such as reaching professional milestones but often just over everyday small stuff. For example, I am an Ok cook who follows recipes to the t. The other day, I pull together a simple fish dish that I was proud of. It was easy but tasty. I felt proud that I followed my instincts w blending whatever spices I had on hand (given the snow). The little moment of joy when it all came together felt so good.

I used to be super critical of myself. Now I cherish these small wins throughout my day. I am so much happier and it translates to my professional work as well.

Nice! I've been trying to treat myself more kindly. My instinct is to notice where I mess up but not what I did well but I want to change that.

Way to go OP!!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Hopefully your story will inspire other women out there who have been cheated on to leave their husbands and live their best life!

Because once they leave - the best is yet to come❣️❤️❤️❤️

Congrats OP, it's nice when life falls into place this way.

What's your side hustle? I'm not currently thriving per se and could use one.

Also curious about the side hustle. I'd pay you to coach me on setting one up!

Op, you are truly amazing! Yes, sometimes I allow myself to feel pride in myself, but I can’t think of any accomplishments like yours. I guess I’ve lost and kept off 15 lbs in the past few months?

Nice job OP. You rock!

$2000 would not get you and 2 kids to Paris unless you had a time machine back to 2002. Sure thing, OP.
