Do realize that both Judaism and Christianity practiced animal sacrifices. What do you think they were sacrificing in the temple before its destruction? What is the very essence of Christianity - god sacrificed an animal (Jesus).

The rwnjs don't science"and they don't history.

Paganism/Wicca has surged dramatically, with estimates of 1.5 million or more, driven by a search for spirituality, accessible online resources (like TikTok), and a desire for personalized paths outside traditional religion, leading to a modern resurgence of witchcraft in the U.S..

What, why the H?

This is absolute bull shite. Do you just pull this randomly out of your butt? Hoping to scare people to church?

Witchcraft my huge azz. You think like a small scared child.

Probably a headline on CNN

I don't think this is surprising. People have been into this since the 1960s. It got more popular after that.

PP you replied to. Do you realize how stupid you sound comparing widespread animal sacrifices from the Before Times (that happened in practically every religion, not just Judeo-Christianity), to ones performed by a minuscule fringe subset in 2025?

What is even the point of your post???

What is your source of data that there has been a dramatic increase in Wiccan identification?

The most recent thing I find is that they remain well less than 1% of the population.

It depends on what you count as a witch. I know many people who follow the moon and sun cycles to follow the year. They have certain rituals at certain times of the year - to mark the year, be grateful, think about the future, close the past…. Things like that, but they are not part of an organized pagan or Wiccan tradition and there are no deities that are petitioned to change something. Some like a more formal ritual, others prefer to just get out in a forest, field, or coast and walk contemplatively. Plus, they all float 😜.

Right - and his only begotten son -- as if God couldn't have as many children as he wanted.
