And when I do find myself being judgmental, if I look closely, it's because somehow I feel less than adequate in that same area somehow so I'm trying to make myself feel better by inwardly dogging someone else.

Actually, while I prefer your spelling, they are both acceptable.

OP, is it parenting choices about which you have become more judgmental? And if so, are you a perfect parent? I certainly am not....

I can't stand parents who keep themselves first in all things, ahead of their children, in each and every instance. Drives me crazy.
