This isn’t allowed under safesport rules for equestrian, so I assume all other Olympic sports? If you’re a coach, you can’t sleep with your students.

Some people's moral code compels them to tell the wife, so if they must do it, it has to be as hands off as possible. Personally I wouldn't get involved either.
