A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Game of Thrones prequel

The show was really good. I didn't read the books but my husband did and the Egg ends up being a major character.

The actor who plays Ser Dunk is hot.

Peter Claffley.

This was an unexpected treat, fresh and fun. Sharper writing and editing compared to the ponderous HOD. Daniel Ings as the Baratheon lord was spectacular. Apparently he was told to "at once be like Tyrion but also nothing like him." He succeeded brilliantly!

The book series is called The Tales of Dunk and Egg, so yeah, he's a big part of it. Egg lives long enough to meet Jon Snow.

2nd episode was good, I LOVE the main character. This show is much better than the other spin off.

It's Egg's brother who meets Jon.

Let’s talk about episode 4. What did you think of those last few minutes? Dunk’s words, the gates opening, the MUSIC! Loved it!

The maester at the wall? Wasn’t his name Aegon? Does the timing actually work for that?

Oh I really liked House of the Dragon. This spinoff seems very different and almost irreverent.

I don't think the timing is right.

Not really, it's a stretch. Dunk is Brienne's great grandfather.
