BC in 40s

Gyn told me she never heard of anyone getting pregnant over 50 with estrogen as low as mine (tested) without fertility intervention. So I switched to cintraceptive gel for 8 years until menopause.

You had your period until 58?!

Isn't 51 too old don't they tell you to stop at 49/50?

I wish. He just pulls out.

Tubal at 31 after our 2nd child.

I’d only use condoms if I was with different partners.

I was the PP who did that and a woman in 40s and I hate using condoms. I don't think I would deeply connect with a person if we always have sex with condoms.

That's fine but it's pretty immature to say "ewww" to someone's totally reasonable BC of choice just because it's not what you would choose.

Like I don't personally want an IUD for various reasons but I don't tell women who use them "ewww." I just think "that's cool you found something that works for you."

In other words: grow up.

I'm the PP who uses condoms and I don't find that they get in the way of "deeply connecting" withy spouse of 15 years with whom I have children. I don't really even think about it.
