Best scar cream/gel

I've always just used plain old vitamin E on my scars and it worked very well.

It's been a while (7 months) since my surgery, and I have pretty bad scarring. Would silicone tape still work?

OP, as someone who has BTDT, the best advice I have is, use the scar cream if you must, but your priority should be SUNSCREEN. 24/7, 365 sunscreen, no matter what, period, full stop. And a really good moisturizer always; we had great success with La Roche cicaplast.

You will worry it’s not working. Scars stay pink for a REALLY long time. We are 1.5 years out and finally noticing the aren’t pink anymore and that someone who doesn’t know they are there would have to have them pointed out to notice.

But trust me on the sunscreen.
