That has a laugh track.

OP, my DH is like you but is OK with laugh tracks, and one of the best options without one is Scrubs.

I like to fall asleep to my faves - Columbo, White Collar, Murder She Wrote- very quiet and longer so the theme music doesn't cut in.

One of my sons is a video game enthusiast, he recommended to me this program on YT called Expedition 33 which seems to be someone playing through one of the game’s storylines. He got so excited when I promised to watch it. It is SEVEN hours.

Even when I try to stay awake and follow it, I start to fall asleep. It’s like watching golf.

The premise is a fantasy world where every year everyone of a certain age disintegrates and dies. Every year there’s an expedition to see if whatever’s causing the phenomenon can be discovered and stopped. Expedition 33 goes out after all the year’s 34 year olds dissolve and disappear. On the way the expedition 33 protagonists find evidence of previous expeditions like Expedition 54, Expedition 41 etc that did not succeed.

The whole thing is like a giant sleeping pill, I’m about 4 hours through and try to pay just enough attention to be conversant since it seems to mean so much to him that I’m watching it.

this is me trying to listen to an audio book. Vibes of being read-to-sleep as a child and I just can't keep my eyes open for a minute, let alone fallow a book.

Anonymous wrote:The original Forensic Files. The narrator Peter Thomas, now deceased had the most soothing voice.

Listening to him narrate all manner of guts and gore in his calm and peaceful lullaby voice sent me right off to la la land in 30 mins or less, he was also great for the middle of the night awakenings.

RIP Peter Thomas.

Correct. Or Original Unsolved Mysteries. Robert Stack has the voice of a warm blanket.
