| I saw a study where they sent in a protein powder to be tested at a lab and it was all sugar. One guy drank it every day for years. |
+1, as a nutritionist. Eat the whole food source instead - peas, edamame, soy milk, etc Also, It’s the sucralose. |
| Sucralose |
This. I'm allergic to casein, so can eat zero dairy. No cheese, no milk, no yogurt, no cottage cheese, etc... If it's made from milk OP, cut it out for a few weeks and see how you do. |
| Isn't 30% of your Iron daily value a lot for such a small serving? I remember taking an Iron supplement when I was pregnant and I had so many digestive issues from it. That combined with all of the other artificial ingredients seems like it would make it hard to digest. |
|
if I remember correctly, Sucralose can bother some people's stomachs.
|
| You might try cutting out the dairy. I became lactose intolerant as I got older. It sucks. I love dairy. |

I use whey protein powder to supplement ok oats and shakes because I don’t eat a lot of meat. It doesn’t bother me or cause bloating.
But cheese, milk or other dairy gives me awful stomach issues and acid and I need to avoid those. I can’t eat cheese at all anymore. I’d try cutting out the cheese. I didn’t have these problems until my mid 40s. |
This is the answer. |

I love cottage cheese. But it bloats me.
Try the lactaid brand, it’s the one that does it the least, but they only have 4%. |
| Vegan protein powders have been found to contain lead. |
| You don't need protein powder. But if you must, it's likely the artificial sweetener that's causing your GI distress. |
| Maybe the oils? I am lactose intolerant but can drink the Premier Protein shakes. I don't like powders. They have an almond milk version but I haven't tried it. |
Surprised this wasn't thr first comment! That's what I think, too. |
