Wouldn't bother me much for this reason, he's kind of obligated to go or throw a big stink. I (a woman) have "had" to do things like this for work. I wouldn't want to be with "that guy" (the one heading to the club alone with a pocket full of cash on a random Tuesday after kids are in bed), but for a one off like this it wouldn't be a big deal.
