| Iron supplements help me a lot, even if I’m not anemic. (My iron stores are usually slightly low or right at the lower limit of normal though, not sure if it would help if all iron studies were norm.) |
It doesn't say ANTIdepressant! Its says depressants like alcohol! |
Depressants NOT antidepressants.

Actually, it says "depressant medication's." Alcohol is not a medication. I'd love to know what depressant medication's (that's not plural BTW) there are because I'm not aware of any. And yes, you can drink on Gabapentin (the actual name), but probably shouldn't. |
WHAT DEPRESSANTS?? They don't exist. |
What are you blabbing on about? |
This poster is why you should never take this forum seriously. Anyone can spew nonsense like this. |
You are misinformed. CNS (central nervous system) depressants such as benzodiazepines, barbiturates and sedatives are known to be a high risk for interactions with gabapentin. |
Hey dodo: https://www.addictioncenter.com/drugs/drug-classifications/central-nervous-system-depressants/ |
No one, and I mean no one, refers to them as depressants. You made a goof and now you're doubling down. Do better. |
I'll take my advice from someone who can actually put a sentence together, thanks though. |

I’ve had it for several years—nearly uncontrollable need to move my R leg, less so my L leg unless I fold it under me or squeeze my feet together as tightly as possible.
I tried ropinarole but it didn’t agree with me. Since then, gabapentin helps. And I do take a SSNI anti-depressant (Cymbalta) and Buspar. I do not drink alcohol. I used to think “how bad can RLS be?” but now I know—plenty bad. |
Ugh that sounds awful. The issue isn't with antidepressants, its with drugs that depress your nervous system like a benzo. |
