Dishwasher detergent that actually works and is not toxic?

| We use the cascade gel because the pods seemed to keep getting stuck in the little compartment and not dissolving. Dishes seem equally clean. |

I like the Costco pods as well. However they come in a hard plastic container which does not help if the goal is to reduce plastic. |

I recently bought Nature Bee tabs and I love them. I actually cut them in half and have been using just that.

| Cascade powder works well. I hate house chores and pouring in the powder doesn’t even register as a task. I do not know how Cascade is wrt elements we’re better off avoiding. |
