Recommend cross body purse for travel to Europe

Pacsafe, Travel Pro, Baggelli (only certain ones have anti theft)

Or use the locks on the Amazon link provided by another poster up thread.

I was just in Europe women were getting robbed left and right with their cross bodies that did not have locks.

Serious question - how do they rob your crossbody while it’s on your body? I really appreciate the tip.

Europe is a big place. Where was this happening?

Also passage bags and similar look stupid. I live in Europe and only American Tourists carry those. I've never been robbed...but I have had my cards skimmed before, while visiting the US! C'est la vie!

What do you recommend as a bag to carry while sightseeing?

I used this in Italy, etc.

Big enough to hold a water bottle with certain anti theft features. Comfy, thick strap. Lightweight.

If you are traveling during coat season, wear it under your coat (or cardigan).

Pickpockets are in virtually every major tourist area. They are obvious around Buckingham Palace, Eiffel Tower, etc.

It’s very crowded. Usually work in pairs or groups. They open zippers when you’re in close proximity or are distracted by someone else. Lock your purses.

I know someone who had her crossbody cut off her as she exited the train in Naples.

Generally speaking, a lot of theft happens on or near trains/stations.

Hermes Herbag 20. The opening is quite complicated so i5!8/ relatively more secured. It also had thick canvas body that is easy to care for.

Worn cross body it is quite practical and cute, just pricy.

DS loves his PacSafe for his Europe trip

The baggalini or a Travelon bag. Make sure to lock the zips.
