What work would you have done on your face?

Deep plane lower face and necklift with upper bleph at age 53… I know you said non surgical, but I didn't want to throw money at short lasting/snake oil treatments and I don't like the way filler looks. Things I talked about with surgeon but declined after researching: fat grafting to upper checks and chin, brow lift, CO2 laser resurfacing. This was not in DC and although the recovery was a lot, I’m happy with the results and look like myself but don’t hate my neck anymore

Would you mind sharing your doctor for the bolded procedures? Even if they're not in the DC area. TIA!

Sarmela Sunder in BH, $$$ but people fly from all over to work with her and I trusted her. I booked the consult a couple months out and surgery about a year out

Laser, like red beam laser. Start with 3 that are 6-weeks apart then have 1 per year. Tretonin (sp?) cream nightly.

Thank you for the name. When you say $$$, can you be more specific?

I've done Botox, fillers, acid face peels and several full-face laser procedures over 20 years. I am to the point that none of those work anymore. My skin, while mostly age-spot free, is somewhat papery and now sagging. The only thing left is a facelift, either full, or maybe neck and lower.

The problem with neck and lower is that not all faces work with that. I've seen some exceedingly wealthy women going to top surgeons and look pulled. I can play around with my face and see how easy it could be to end up with a pulled look if the entire face isn't pulled evenly.

Though I've seen other women who have only had neck by the same surgeons and they look great.

I'm finding that at-home treatments are handling the wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes OK. But I can't do anything with the jowly look of my lower face and neck. I'd love to get that fixed. Stress has done a number on my face and I look way older than I am.

So I'm 40 and this is basically my only sign of aging, I wore sunscreen and am pretty free of wrinkles but my skinny neck looks like a bundle of sticks in a bag. I got this done and it cost a fortune ($700) and lasted like a month. Biggest waste ever.

Strange that it only lasted a month. Do you know how many units you got?

I would do FL but Ive seen so many bad ones, I would have to be certain I'd get natural results. FLs do seem to be getting better lately though. In past years people suddenly looked stretched oddly with puddles of skin in front of their ears. Some of the omakase FL looks completely natural but I would want to know most people get similar results and not just the best examples seen online.
