What work would you have done on your face?

If you've done nothing for the first 55 years. I'd really appreciate specific recommendations of procedures and providers in Arlington - Reston area.

I would have a neck lift in a hot second if I could afford it.

My mom got a necklift and the results are amazing. I will follow in her footsteps for sure.

I’d also get a deep plane face lift and an upper bleph.

I'm 55 as well, and have never had anything. Looking into botox and fillers, and thinking about a bleph as well -- not even sure if an upper or lower bleph would be best. So need to find someone great to have a consult with.

Dr. Nayak’s omakase facelift. Alas, I don’t have a spare $300k lying around.

OP here and I intended to limit initial responses to non-surgical procedures.

OP, what work you need will depend entirely on the specific issues you are facing. Many people are suggesting surgery because at a certain point it's the only thing that is going to make a significant difference. Many people waste a lot of money on non surgical procedures that don't make a lasting difference. That money may have been better spent on a facelift.

Do you have wrinkles that can be addressed with Botox? Did you lose weight in the face and want fillers and/or Sculptra? Do you have discoloration, scars, etc that should be addressed with laser? Do you already use retinol or tretinoin?

I'd spend quite a bit of time online educating yourself on what the various options are before booking any procedures. The problem with the industry is that if you go to a medspa they will sell you the specific treatments they offer. If you go to a plastic surgeon they will say surgery is the only answer. If you only have a hammer, etc.

FWIW, I personally tried a Botox brow lift and loved the result but after two injector sessions decided to just spend the money on an upper bleph. It works out cheaper in the long run. I liked CO2 laser results but felt it was expensive and won't do it again. I tried a vampire facial and didn't see much in the way of results. I'm only in my 40's and YMMV.

Botox for 11s and side of eyes for several years to prevent wrinkles getting deeper. Deep plane lower face and necklift with upper bleph at age 53… I know you said non surgical, but I didn't want to throw money at short lasting/snake oil treatments and I don't like the way filler looks. Things I talked about with surgeon but declined after researching: fat grafting to upper checks and chin, brow lift, CO2 laser resurfacing. This was not in DC and although the recovery was a lot, I’m happy with the results and look like myself but don’t hate my neck anymore

Would you mind sharing your doctor for the bolded procedures? Even if they're not in the DC area. TIA!
