False. There are open Chinese restaurants.

I wouldn’t recommend any I’ve been to, though. IMO DC’s Chinese restaurant offerings are not good. I’ve given up.

It’s pretty well known that Chinese and actually many asian restaurants in general are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas. Jewish folks like myself have been getting Chinese food on christmas for decades. It’s their biggest day of the year and they make a ton of money. I’m in Rockville and every single one is open-in fact some even sent emails to make sure people knew they were open.

Did everyone get their chinese food fix? I haven't had realllly good pork fried rice in such a long time. Hope someone else got their cravings satisfied last night or today!

My fav Chinese on the Hill is Copy Cat but they’re not carry out.

Not going to say the name but we ended up getting delivery from one of the fancier places and it tasted … weird? The eggrolls were good though. Delivery was fine even during the dinner rush. Next year we will try one of the “cheap Chinese” places
