This ambitious menu of activities and construction of landmarks will be funded thus:

So the U.S. state fair sounds fine but did nanylmr else pick up on the fact that this is just the Smithsonian folklore festival which has happened forever on the national mall? The only difference is that it’s gojng to focus on all 59 states instead of a few different cultures.

I’m also wondering where the arc is going to go. The mall is pretty crowded already. Should we just put it in the middle of Logan circle?

I don’t really care about the arch, because the next President can just demolish it in a day, and ban Federal contracting to any company that donated money to the thing.
