| Anyone know why Arlington’s 2014’s and 2015s aren’t playing? |
| Maybe they didn't get selected. |
agree its overkill at u14 but given the club, they have as good a track record as any club in the nation, so maybe they got it? |
| My daughter is on FC Delco and I'm looking forward to playing completely new from across the country. |
| *new teams -whoops |
They would not compete |
| Springfield U14 too low. Alexandria GA in the 5th bracket? |
Where could you put syc and Alexandria 2012? |
Exactly, too low for what? SYC played 3 teams in the bracket above them last year and got beat soundly by all 3, those teams didn’t get worse… No one is interested in playing the same teams over and over except I guess the teams that lost and none of these good teams are traveling here for meh local competition to be fluffed with bracket selections. |
|
My coach said lots of requests are going in now to move teams in/out of brackets. I'd expect these brackets are not exactly finalized yet.
|
2014s are in the second bracket and the 2015s are in the top bracket. |
Not the girls |
Over the past year, SYC U14s have beaten 4–5 teams ranked higher than them in scrimmages and official games. Many teams across all age groups appear to be misplaced in the current brackets, so I expect more changes in the coming weeks for boys and girls. |
They’re 5th in the rankings app. Have they beaten any of the teams above them? Union, Arlington, Richmond, VDA? |
Yeah makes sense as the tourney is still 3 months away. I'm the Delco poster and for example "PDA White Shore" is an entirely new team this year and is flighted at least 3 flights too low. Even the the top of the 2013s doesn't make a ton of sense unless they are prioritizing teams traveling from far away in the championship bracket (eg. GSA, Penn Fusion, SJEB, NVA all could be ahead of Eclipse or Nationals). |
