OP here. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Yes, I agree, he must have sensed this time that such a banter would not be unwelcome. When I was sitting in the exam chair he first showed up at the door in his biking gear, having just come in "only for me." He was talking to me standing at the door and then moving on, and I asked him "won't you come in to stay with me?" I thought it was really innocent, but he took it and ran with it đ Besides, I have known him to be a flirt for three years, so I would have switched if it had bothered me. His high prices bother me more than his flirtatious demeanor. |
OP here. I agree with everything you wrote. It's just that I haven't made the effort to find and meet up with other men who are looking for relationships. It is my fault. It took a random encounter like this to realize that I should pull myself together and put myself out more. Mistakenly I thought that at my age chances of me finding a great catch without baggage are slim to none. If the dentist were younger and taller (he is an inch shorter, I am very tall), I would actually consider him. It was also my fault that I considered myself to be undesirable, after having been treated by H with contempt for ten years. Low self-esteem. After the recent mental switch I know that a middle-aged woman who is put-together, charming and confident will find her match. |

While I am glad that your dentist gave you the added boost to your self-esteemâŚ..I personally find his chair side manner inherently creepy â inappropriate.
His behavior would give me the âick.â 𤎠|
Are you hot? How big are your b00b$? |
| Dentists are good at oral. |

This is cute, OP.
And made me think of the Brady Bunch episode where Marcia imagines she is going to marry her dentist! |
