GF is extremely snappy and angry

Troll. Shes a gf with an engagement ring? You need to at least keep your OP straight if you're going to entertain yourself with these fake posts.
Anonymous
you don't know if the ring is off and she is back to the GF status and not fiancé.

I agree that she is unstable and Op needs to get out before he spends more time with her.

X2. The next time she takes the ring off, pick it up and say you’re right, pack your shit, and move out without saying another word.

Op, dump her. Woman who don't respect something this important is going to be a problem in the future too.

I don't know the whole story but she should be happy to be engaged to someone if you do 1/2 of the things you said. She doesn't deserve you.

This is not sustainable in long term so be careful what you get in with her. She needs therapy on top of medications and both of you need couples counseling too before resentment sets in.

Isn't 43 a little young for HRT and other stuff? Did you lose weight after your thyroid meds got balanced?

No, I’m 39 and probably should have started a lot earlier.

Some people’s bodies are more prone to hormonal disruption, usually it’s a combination of genes and environmental factors. One of my kids got my shitty genes and needed hormonal treatment at a very young age.

She really should get a full work up with a specialist. Likely she’s also deficient in vitamin D, iron, etc.

what else you have to be careful about? Do you also have PCOS or anything like that? Vitamin D or Iron shouldn't be causing this. Did you gain weight or lose after HRT and thyroid medication?

Vitamin D is used for hormone production and absolutely has an effect.

I have an autoimmune disorder.

I didn’t lose weight because I was already really thin, which is why doctors never picked up on it. I remember when I was about 20 I asked a doctor to check things out bc I was suspicious, and she said I was too thin to have any thyroid issues.
