| Those are ugly. There are much better looking ones out there |
Wait, what? I just recently started wearing them in the car and taking them out at my destination. I have flat fine hair and putting them up in the claw clip helps give a bit of body. |
| She probably wants the trendy gold ones |

| Those are adorable. I'd get the bottom (neutral) ones considering she wears neutrals and has blonde hair. |
Wait, what? I can't imagine the clip wouldn't just break if your head whiplashed, wouldn't it? |
These are the deadly ones |
Yep. The plastic ones break, but the metal ones are a hatchet to the skull. |
For real? That never would have occurred to me. |
Really? Having a hunk of metal and hard plastic between your head and the headrest doesn't seem like a hazard? I have a ton of clips in my car because I put my hair up when doing stuff around the house and then forget to take them out before I get in the car. If you're using them on top of your head to give your hair body there's less risk of them impacting you in an accident I guess but I usually have them more towards the back. |
The plastic ones are dangerous, too. Because they break, there are extremely sharp edges. Even if they don’t pierce your skull they can cause severe lacerations. Skin is more fragile than plastic. |
| OMG this thread unlocked a new fear |
| OP my blonde teen likes the bottom ones in your original post. She also likes some fun ones w/ cherries on them if you wanted to mix it up? |
| Just include a gift receipt. |
| I don't get it. There are nicer cheaper clips everywhere OP why but those? |
