Having a hunk of metal and hard plastic between your head and the headrest doesn't seem like a hazard? I have a ton of clips in my car because I put my hair up when doing stuff around the house and then forget to take them out before I get in the car. If you're using them on top of your head to give your hair body there's less risk of them impacting you in an accident I guess but I usually have them more towards the back. [/quote]
