The thing that sucks is that women can have phantom periods during perimenopause and barely notice. Gyns mark the last period where you could fill a pad as your last period. I have had phantom periods: cramps, bloating, breast tenderness, moodiness, cravings and only traces of blood and then a few months later, a whole period. Op likely had phantom periods in the last 2 years which went un noted because they didn't make the mark to count as a period. In my book, her menopause countdown starts over with this cycle. But, yeah, get checked out just in case.
