Is getting a nose job at 39 absurd?

It’s sad you think this is too old. You have a lot of living left to do, and I hate to break it to you but most of your face is only going downhill!! Might as well fix the nose!

- someone who should have got a nose job in her teens but mom said I should wait until 20s, but I never had the money (20s into 30s) or time (40s). Now in my 40s I’ve had several consults over a decade, but I never pull the trigger because it’s near impossible to find the time and it’s not clear to me that there’s any surgery that will improve things a lot (bulbous nose - most ppl seem to look the same after). So I’m mostly just nervous that something bad will happen. But if I had certainty that the surgery would give me a goood result, I would 100 percent so this even into my 50s.
