I have a slim cut, thin puffer without a hood from Columbia that looks great. It's got nice lines, is pretty thin for a puffer and heats up like a mo fo. Not sure if it's this one or not:

Puffers have come a long way and if you get one that hits mid thigh, it won't make you look like a ball up top. https://www.columbia.com/p/womens-heavenly-long-hooded-jacket-1738161.html?color=625 |

This thing is a beast. It keeps me warmer than $1-$1.5K jackets and it folds up so small so you aren’t lugging around a massive coat for travel / errands. I’ve literally shoved it in my tote when I walk into a store and it’s too hot and forgotten it’s in there. |
You know you can get the zipper replaced. It's like $25 at Zips dry cleaning. |
| Soia and Kyo |
| Try Arcteryx. They can be a little more fitting than other brands. |
| You can likely get the zipper replaced. |
| I have an Eddie Bauer one that looks so good on me! But it is very loud. So, make sure you watch for the fabric, regarless of the brand. I bought it online and forgot to return it. I wear it now when I will only see my own family, who are amused by the sounds. |
Also try Rab. Not that easy to find in local stores though. |
