Fitted puffer?

I have a small frame and no curves so puffers totally swallow me up. I had a great, quite fitted one from Save the Duck but the zipper gave out.

Does anyone have a slim / fitted puffer they’d recommend? Ideally in a matte fabric (and not too akin to a garbage bag).

I was coming to suggest Patagonia as well. Would also check out the Radalie parka if you live in the DC area -- it's for milder winters but has an even slimmer, more fitted style with less puff.

In general Patagonia does a good job of balancing shape and insulation, better than other brands IMO. I also have a north face jacket and it's warmer but swallows me up and I only wear it when I just need to be completely cocooned. For regular DC commutes in winter months, I wear my long Patagonia puffer (a style that predates either of the ones recommended here but looks sort of halfway between them).

I dunno. I am on the shorter end and I look frumpy in Patagonia. It may just be me or where my waist is. I have better luck with North Face.

Came here to say this. My uniqlo long puffer that can be squished to fit in a small bag is not only a stylish fit and really convenient for packing, it's one of the warmest coats I have. It's just as warm if not more so than puffers that take up 50%+ more space.

When I read fitted puffer I immediately thought Save the Duck. Check out the new styles online.

I love my Bean puffer. It’s tapered and not bulky, but still very warm because of the fleece lining. And it hits at the perfect thigh length (I’m short, so this is important for me).
