| Every other day but uses wet wipes because someone asked about that |
Wow. Do better at kindness, and not judging and shaming other people. I hope this isn’t how you treat your kids and isn’t the example you set for them. |
Or 5 if it's a quick navy style shower. |
Same here. Once a week only. |
|
Every day.
It’s about consistency and less room to argue if it’s something that happens daily. |
| We do every day unless we have a late activity (which is usually once a week) for my 8 yo. I learned with my 10 year old you slide pretty quickly into body odor - better to get in the habit soon, in my opinion |
This ain’t it. Bring back shame! Daily bathing should be the default. There are of course some limited exceptions. Stop using “be nice!!” as a shield against criticism. And stop being nasty and wash your ass. |
|
Every day, hair washing 2-3x per week depending on hair type and activity levels. Moisturizer after shower.
Once shes a tween and needs a daily shower badly (girls smell too…) you won’t be able to build a habit from scratch. And if you want a daughter traumatized let her be the one with BO in middle school. |
| Most days. 4 or 5 a week. |
| Every day for my 9 year old. She does have thick hair so occasionally I'll throw her shower cap on but that's pretty rare.. |
| Daily, how is it even a question? |
Greasy hair smells. Children’s hair doesn’t. She can do a ho’s bath if you think it’s necessary between showers but otherwise 2-3x week in winter. |
It is actually. This is a piece of an article about bathing from Harvard Health who know a whole lot more than you. Why not bathe a child daily? Lots of bathing can lead to dry, irritated skin. But also, the skin has natural protective oils, and natural bacteria, that help to keep us healthy and safe — and that can get washed away with daily bathing. If your preteen looks pretty clean, isn't stinky, isn't covered in bug spray, and hasn't been in a pool or other body of water, it's fine to skip the bath or shower. Really, bathing two or three times a week is fine. In fact, for many kids, even just once or twice a week is fine. You can always do a quick wipe with a wet washcloth to the face, groin area, and any dirty spots. https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/does-your-child-need-to-bathe-every-day-202109202598 |
| Daily shower, but we shampoo his hair once a week. I have extremely dry hair as an adult and only shampoo my own hair 2x a week, but I condition every day. |
| Gross. All the nasty asses coming out of the woodwork |
