| We seem to run out of time for a shower most nights. Is showering once or twice a week before puberty gross? She doesn't play a ton of sports and doesn't smell. I'm just finding working in more frequent showers challenging between activities, reading time, homework, etc. |
| Very dry skin. 3 times a week when it's hot and sweaty out. 2 times a week otherwise. |
| Assuming that this is a serious post, she should bathe/shower at least every other day if not participating in sports or doing manual labor or otherwise sweating. But, yeah, it's pretty gross. |
| Every day. Sometimes it's just her butt. She poops every day doesn't she?? My dad's hair also smells after 2 days as she sweats with her head. |
| Once or twice a week seems fine before puberty. Even as adults, three times a week is fine for a lot of people. |
| 3 x week so every other day |
| Daily. I don’t understand how she run out of time to take a shower. It takes 10 min. |
| Once a week or so.. |
|
How do you run out of time to shower? It takes 10 minutes!!
My 9 year old takes a shower almost every day before bed. Even if they don't play sports, they're still active - what about running around at recess or in PE? Not to mention hair starts smelling after a couple days. Your 9 year old definitely sweats. When she skips a shower, it's because we stayed at home and did basically nothing all day. |

Mine fights showering. We aim for every other day. Left to her own choice it would be once a week tops. Sometimes she fake showers - gets wet forgets to use shampoo. It’s a whole thing.
ODD tendencies that are improving somewhat. She loves the shower and forgets til she’s in there. Maybe every three days? Have them use a washcloth every day though. |
| Every day, but washes hair 2x a week. |
Nasty ass |
|
| Every other day, but I’d prefer daily. Once a week is crazy. |
| Daily shower, washing hair every other day. It takes literally 5 minutes to properly soap the body and rinse. Additional 5 minute when washing hair. Do better at parenting. |
