Catholic Church won’t stop being cruel to these nuns!

I’m certain the Pope knows about this and isn’t living a finger for the sisters. Typical. Use the best years of women and then toss them like garbage.

Very true, but this is not abuse, is it? They're not supposed to be there. I sympathize, but it's not within the rules of their order to do this, which they knew when they entered the cloister. I know the public loves them because the public knows nothing of what it means to enter into such a conventual life... but this isn't as clear-cut as liberated society makes it out to be.

I’m pretty sure child sexual abuse is against the rules too (or is it) but those priests get sent to a camp in Missouri to live out their lives peacefully instead of going to jail. Come on man.

The first rule of monastic orders is to obey, whether it's monk or nuns. Seriously. I know you think these nuns are great, but they have disobeyed and that's a big no-no, and they know that. They're counting on public opinion, and their great age and years of service, to get a lenient response from the Church.

That was also a Nazi rule.

red herring

NP. Red herring? It’s the first rule of any cult, be it the Catholic Church, a toxic family, Scientology, the Nazis, or an MLM.

The Roman Catholic Church has been screwing women literally and figuratively, since it's beginning.

Maybe you should read the article. They are squatting in property they no longer own.

They signed a contract. The church owes them a convent.

No, they didn’t.

This. Plus nuns shouldn’t be on social
Media or hiring lawyers I’m not Catholic and even I know this.

Why shouldn't they be on social media?
.

Because social media is filled with filth I’d guess they say. Also women shouldn’t have any autonomy or voice.
